Superman: The adventures of Lois and Clark

lois and clark

I watched Superman: Adventures of Lois and Clark when I was little and I loved it! I bought all the seasons a few years ago on DVD and I really enjoy watching it when I am back home. Unfortunately I don’t have time to watch all 4 seasons and I had to leave out some episodes. It was aired in the nineties so it’s and older show- pretty funny sometimes what was considered cool in the ninties. Haha. But I love it and Dean Cain will always be the real deal Superman for me- because I grew up with it!

Drama: Mei-chan no Shitsuji

Mei-chan no shitsuji is a Japanese drama I watched somewhere between Hana Kimi and Perfect Girl before I got into Korean dramas. It’s, sadly, one of my least favorite dramas. The girl’s character is a little annoying almost (my personal oppinion) and the male main lead is a bit too quiet.

The story: It revolves around a young woman named Mei, who was rescued as a young girl by someone calling himself her “butler.” With only a vague memory, though, the experience seems like just a dream. But one day, after her parents’ accidental death, he appears: Rihito comes from a line of outstanding butlers, and he has been appointed to serve her! Now her ordinary life has completely flipped, as she discovers that she’s actually the heiress to a fortune, and is forced to transfer to a Girls’ Academy, where all the students have butlers!

I didn’t really like the drama that much. I know many like the actor who starrs Rihito, the male lead. But I don’t really like the actor- except for when he was in Tokyo Dogs. So Mei-chan no shitsuji has a 4/10 on my personal scale.

Drama: Rich man, poor woman

rich man poor womanRich man, poor woman is a Japanese drama I watched a few months ago. It starts out pretty good and the characters are interesting and the story line seems a lot to hold. But the few episodes concentrate more on the main character’s success and how he gets back on his feet than the cute love story they could have made out of this drama. Of course, it is still there but it has not as much attention as you would think/ wish.

The story: Toru is a young and wealthy man, who has a very eccentric side to himself. He runs a successful company that developes techonology. He is smart, good looking and has great ideas for the future of his company. One day he meets Chihiro, a woman who came to an interview to his company and he hires her- because she has something he hasn’t: A good memory. The two repeatedly conflict each other, but little by little learn about one another to grow and develop together.

Oguri Shun plays Toru in this drama and since he is one of my favorite actors I liked him in this one, too. But the story could have been developed more around him and the girl- that would have made an even cuter story! On my personal scale this drama is a 7/10!

Man of Steel

bgI watched the new Superman movie Man of Steel yesterday. Wow, this was an awesome movie! I hope you guys get a chance to watch it! The Action scenes are awesome! I was stoked! In 1 1/2 weeks I will be returning to Japan and end my vacation here in Europe. I’m glad I was able to watch Man of Steel in my first language here.

Drama: To the beautiful you

beautiful you

This drama is the Korean version of “Hana Kimi” and a wonderful re-make of the Japanese original. Wow, even though I knew the story line and how it ends, this drama captivated me right away! Really fun, good actors and a sweet story! The main actor is starred by Minho from Shinee. I heard about him and the Korean band Shinee after I watched this drama and really like that band since!

The story line: A Korean girl named Goo Jae Hee lives in America and comes back to Korea to find her idol, the high jumper Kang Tae Joon who stopped high jumping after an injury. She wants to make him jump again and enrolls in the same school as him in order to be close to him. But this school is an all-boys school, so Goa Jae Hee has to disguise herself as a boy in order to make her plan work.

So yes, please check it out! A really good drama! It’s one of my favorites! A 10/10 on my personal scale!
