After Leg Day…

Seriously sore today. I don’t know how I can manage… 36 hours after workout I always feel the worst…

TV Series: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

A new addiction: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is a show that just recently started in 2016. All the heroes and foes from the the CW Shows like Flash and Arrow that you loved by don’t really have a place in their original story lines anymore are getting their own show. I really love watching Legends of Tomorrow. Captain Cold was one of my favorite nemesis from Flash and his character is deceloping pretty well. He usually is the MVP (most valuable player) in the LOT team. I didn’t really care for Ray Palmer even though he is always funny.

Audio Books: Interitance Cycle | Eragon & Eldest

It has been long since my last post about my current reading status. That’s because I was reading Eragon and Eldest and those are some whammy books. The Eldest audio book was 20 hours long. It took me 3 months to get through it. I did t really commit to listening every day because middle part of the book was a bit slow. I love reading the books which are totally tainted by the movie they attempted to make of Eragon. I wish they would redo the Inhertiance cycle and make it a movie series like Lord of the Rings. Try the books series is you like Fanatsy. It has a big fandom!

The Story of book 1 & 2 (Eragon & Eldest) without spoilers: Eragon Garrison is a ordinary farm boy who one day finds a strange egg out of which a dragon named Saphira hatches. The dragons and riders were thought to be distinct but Eragon now becomes the first dragon rider of the new age. The story begins with the murder of his uncle, commanded by the evil king Galbatorix who is enslaving all of the land of Alagasia. In rage Eragon begins a journey motivated by revenge, which leads him with his master Brom all across the land to fight enemies and to make allies, to be trained by the ancient elves in magic and combat and to grow up to be a mighty worrier who soon has to face king Galbatorix to overthrow his evil rule.

A Ramen Stadium

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven’t been posting for a while. I was trying to get over my sickness. I’m still a bit ill but hopefully getting better soon. Meanwhile: here is an article I published on the blog Taiken about the Ramen Stadium in Fukuoka. I hope you like Ramen, I wrote lots and lots about it!

My Valentine…

As you guys might know: Valentines is a big deal in Japan. My Valentine this year was my bed! I was bed ridden with fever for 3 days and basically didn’t see anything of any Valentines festivities. The most updates on the VD I got was over Facebook and Instagram. But I was able to catch up on some of the shows I’ve been wanting to see and finish. I’ll introduce them to you guys later.

Another good thing happened before I got sick: my friend gave me this Coconut hand cream from The Body Shop. I waned a hand cream from that store for so long but didn’t want to spend 10 bucks on it. Now I got one for free. Super happy!

Foundation flair

Hey guys, I wanted to take some time and share my makeup experiences with you!

Artistry balancing Foundation

I love this foundation! My mom got it for me and I used it all up now. It covers well but is a bit too light for the summer: I live on a tropical island and I get tan quick. In the fall and winter this one is perfect. Below you can see how it looks on my face  after I added concealer and setting powder. The second pic below is me with my full make up on (and a bit more depth!)

Let me know if you are interested in a makeup video. I would love to make one!

P2 Ultra Matt 24hours Foundation

I got this one from Germany and I can only use this when I am tanned. It’s too dark to put on my face like this. Sometimes when I want to look a bit tanner than I am, I mix this with a lighter color to give my skin a darker tone. I have only used this in the summer when I was sweating like crazy so I don’t know if it really lasts 24h. Who would want to wear cakey make up 24h anyways?

Revlon Colorstay Foundation

This is my Japanese alternative. It costs 20 bucks (2100¥). I usually don’t spend that much on makeup. The Artistry Make up costs more but it was a gift. The P2 foundation from Germany  was about 5€. But in Japan make up is expensive and I don’t really have a choice if when I run out of my lighter foundation. I tried quite a lot of foundations at the drug store and this one fit my skin tone perfectly. I really like this one even though the prize is whammy.

P2 All in one Professional compact Foundation

This is my quick and easy kit when I don’t have time in the mornings or need to refresh my makeup. It’s okay, honestly. It is pretty thick and cakey so it’s not my first choice. But it’s great on the go.

Decide to have a good day

I woke up this morning with a cold. I felt terrible and could only roll out of bed after throwing in some pain meds. I went to work and started worrying about today. And started to be upset because of my cold, and how much stuff is “on” today. And then I felt bothered because I started to forget what I was upset about. You know that feeling when something bothered you a few minutes ago and you can’t remember what? Yeah that’s me today. And then I decided: you know what, I can’t even remember what is bothering me but I know it’s something I can’t change anyway. So I will just enjoy my day. What do you loose from having a positive attitude?

So I want to live today with a positive outlook. It makes things easier! It makes the hours of work bearable!

I hope you guys have a good day today! Be save and warm! The Sakura cherry blossoms are blooming in Okinawa! What a sight. But it’s raining lots, too!
